(EAPAA) is the professional membership body representing organisations and practitioners involved in the delivery of Employee Assistance programmes (EAPs) across Australasia.

EAPAA is committed to supporting healthy workplaces through the promotion and development of high-quality, ethical, and effective Employee Assistance Programs.

Through standards, professional development, and sector leadership, EAPAA supports the ongoing growth and integrity of the EAP professional across Australasia.

EAPAA strengthens and supports the EAP sector by:

  • Setting professional and ethical standards for the delivery of Employee Assistance Programs.

  • Establishing membership standards for individual practitioners and EAP provider organisations.

  • Defining organisational membership standards, including service standards, infrastructure, capability, and capacity.

  • Maintaining quality assurance through the auditing, accreditation, and monitoring of EAPAA members.

  • Providing guidance to employers and organisations on best-practice EAP program design, implementation, and service delivery.

  • Promoting the value and impact of EAP services to employers, organisations, industry bodies, government, and the broader community

  • Supporting the EAP professional community through research, professional development, training, and opportunities for networking.
