Membership Guidelines & Criteria
EAPAA membership consists of individuals and organisations that provide or use EAPs.
Provider Members
are those organisations/groups/units providing external or internal EAPs and have a minimum experience of five years experience in Australia.
All Provider members are required to have a designated Psychologist or Social Worker who will overview the professional activities of employees or consultants. With application form please provide details of your company’s minimum experience of five years in provision of EAPs and provide the names and contact details of two referees.
Large Provider Members are entitled to three mailing subscriptions and three votes. Medium Provider Members are entitled to two mailing subscriptions and two votes. Small Provider Members are entitled to one mailing subscription and one vote.
Provisional Provider Members
are those organisations/groups/units providing external or internal EAPs which do not meet the five year provision/specific experience in EAPs.
With application form please provide details of your company’s experience in EAP provision and provide the names and contact details of two referees.
Corporate Members
are private or public organisations/bodies which have an EAP and meet the EAPAA standards.
Psychologist Member/Social Workers Member
is a registered psychologist or social worker with a minimum of two years supervised EAP counselling experience (eligible for membership of the AASW or APS).
Members
are persons who are working in the field of EAPs or interested in the field of EAPs and who agree to adhere to the principles of EAPAA.
Student Members
are members who are engaged in full or part-time study in an EAP related discipline.
International Subscriber Member
suitable for those who are domiciled outside Australia and who have an interest in EAPs.
